New Magazine I'm Publishing

I'm very excited about my new magazine, "Un< >Cut>". It will be published twice a year, in July and December, and it features the work of artists from all over the world.

The premier issue (July 2010) features the portraits of French artist Yannick Dangin Leconte, poems by British writer Robert Keegan Walker, and a photo essay on the Burning Man Festival by American photographer Amy Palmer.

The year's second issue published in December features the work of Chinese artist yvonette.z, American collage artist Charles Farrell, and an excerpt from the American novel, "my monk: A Typographic Novel" by Elizabeth Dembrowsky.

A collection of drawings by Yannick Dangin Leconte and poetry by liketelevisionsnow.
These two artists came to their collaborative effort by way of the internet.

The poetry was posted by liketelevisionsnow during 2008-2009 in response to various videos made by ydl about his life in Paris. The poetry and drawings have come together in book form as a logical extension of the earlier interaction between poems and videos.

liketelevisionsnow is a video artist, installation artist, conceptual artist and poet. His latest projects, in addition to this book, have included investigating the use of video to further extend the potential of Mail Art.

Yannick Dangin Leconte is an artist residing in Paris. In addition to painting and drawing, he is an installation artist and video artist. In recent years, he has focused his attention on directing music videos for several artists; ydl is also a member of the band In Broken English. For the past four years, he has used the medium of video to create a narrative of his life in France
